Today is Friday night and I am living up to my being a loser. Haha, As usual, I am just here at the dorm, typing this entry, wishing that I would be lucky enough to be able to actually post this in my blog despite the big problem that my diskette drive is broken. Good luck to me when we just start having to type some papers for school.

I have a class tomorrow by the way – Integrated Marketing Communications. It is just frustrating that I have to go to school 6 days a week, considering the fact that I am a junior already which means that I had my choice, that I had this some sort of control with my sked. Hmm. .i guess I am really not just that wise with fixing my schedule. Besides, can I just share that my random number was 4… yeah, out of like 700, yet I have a 7:30 Economics class. Great… thanks to the Eco dept. for not prioritizing Comm students – forgetting that we are required to take Eco102 this sem.

I haven’t seen him today – one of the reasons why this day is a bit sadder than the usual day. Because of course, I miss him. I have been spending time with him – seeing him and talking with him over the phone even if we seem to be running out of stories to tell - almost everyday since last week. But I never get tired. I don’t know if I shared to you this already but I just have this theory that the more you get to be with someone, the more you miss him, the more that you feel the need to be with him more. :p

Hmm,, right now, I can’t talk with him, even over the phone because he is still out – on a gimmick / inuman with his friends from school. I just wish they really are just drinking now.. – doing nothing stupid, nothing naughty.. I am a bit worried actually because he hasn’t been texting me for the past 30 minutes (haha, pathetic).well, I am just expecting an update.. please don’t think that I am that paranoid, haha.

Since Randy is sick and so we had a free cut for our Comm Research class, Lizzie and I decided to watch a movie in Gateway mall. We were supposed to watch Batman Begins but since the earliest screening time for the movie was around 1 (and the movie is 2 hours and 20 minutes long) and she had to be back in school before 3, we decided to watch Hitchhiker’s Guide to Galaxy (H2G2), even if we had absolutely no idea what the movie is about. It just had the earliest screening time that day.

An irony to the title of the film, I could say we were not guided.. rather, we were both lost. We left the theater puzzled – that if someone would approach us and ask what the movie was about, I doubt it that we would be able to answer. Hahaha.

The funny thing was we both thought that Philosophy was haunting us. (we both have our first Philo of Man classes this sem, by the way). Why? :p The movie mentioned finding the answer to the unknown ultimate question – which we think is of course, the essence of our being – the meaning of life, of all that there is, of all that is of existence. And the computer in the film said that the answer is : 42. crap, “what’s that about?!” (haha, imitating the expression of my Philo prof). She, the computer,(she is in the form of a woman, by the way) made quite a good point there though when she said that the meaning of that answer would only be revealed if they (those who asked) fully knew and understood what their question was. I think – what it means to point out is that answers are understood / interpreted depending on the questions that were asked. (huh? It is really confusing. But isn’t that the point of Philo, to confuse us so that we may ask? I hope I am making sense.)

An interesting object in the film was the Point-of-View gun which when you use to shoot someone, that person tends to think the same way that you do or in the same line of thinking / POV as yours.
Towards the end, the movie claimed that the most intelligent creatures are mice, discrediting its initial statement that humans are the most intelligent, next are dolphins. (I am not sure of this, though. Basta, it said that humans and dolphins are two of the most intelligent, hehe). but as I’ve said earlier, I didn’t ‘get’ the movie so I really could not tell you why mice are intelligent.

my first p.a. job was a blast!

even if had literally had no sleep for a bit more than 24 hours (having just gone from a mini-inuman since it was rambo's birthday on the 17th) and i was just standing up and running around a bit (yeah, the works of an alalay) and eating nothing except three sticks of french fries and water and pepsi (it was weird i never peed the whole day, yeah right, talk about dehydration) while working at the FETE de la musique, i never really got tired.. because i loved my work.

hmm.. i never really felt like complaining that day. haha, who would complain by the way if i get to watch the bands from the side of the stage (onstage pa nga!) because i was holding the "5-min, 1 min, 30sec cards" (to remind the bands of their remaining play time) for the stage manager marlette.

plus plus, i got the chance to be beside miggy of chicosci. shet, he even talked to me because he was asking the line-up. haha., he even smiled at me.. as in, just at ME. nice.. (nagulat kase ako dun sa batang rakista sa baba ng stage ng parang natamaan yung paa ko.. haha, tapos napatingin si miggy at .. :) ]

plus, i got mong's signature because i was beside him also while Sandwich was playing..

i 'stole' one of the give-away cds - the soundtrack of the upcoming film "Pinoy Blonde" (hey, i didnt really steal it. it was sort of semi-legal/semi-illegal because i had permission from the stage manager.. haha, she also got one.. secretly)

just too bad i didnt get to take pictures of myself with the rockstars. haaay.. nahiya na kasi ako, haha :) but i had my camera with me. and i was fortunate enough to get some quite close pictures - of few bands only, though.

later.
too lazy to write.

(keso)

una, ito raw ay pangangailangang hindi kayang punan nang panandalian, di katulad ng kagutuman na isang kain mo lamang ay agad na mawawala;

pangalawa, alam mo sa iyong sarili na tanging siya lamang at wala nang iba ang makapupunan niyon; halimbawa, kapag 'hinahanap-hanap mo ang Cookies n Cream ice cream ng Nestle, hindi puwede ang Selecta; samakatwid, ito ay ispesipiko;

pangatlo, may mga bagay na hindi mo akalaing magagawa mo subalit para sa kanya, maski ilohikal, magagawa mo ito; halimbawa na lamang ang ginawa ng aming propesor na sumugod siya sa bagyo para bigyan ng Pancit ng Taga-Malabon na paboritong-paborito noon ng kanyang iniibig;

pang-apat, ang pag-ibig ay pagtataya, maihahalintulad sa isang sugal kung saan hindi mo alam kung panalo o talo ka sa huli;

pang-lima, kaakibat nito ang pagbabago; hango nga raw sa isang linya sa pelikula (na hindi ko alam kung ano), "you make me want to be a better man,"

ano ang kaugnayan nito sa tanong na "ano ang pilosopiya?"
hmm.. pagmamahal, pag-ibig sa karunungan at katotohanan..

ilang minuto na lamang at may klase na namin sa pilosopiya kaya paalam muna.
