ok, so ateneo gigs are not that boring after all..

well, i went to a cool one last night. it was a free admission gig dubbed 'granite'. it was led YFC campus, i think, for the gawad kalinga (GK) project. :)

it was one of those -not planned- gimmicks (if that's what you call it. hehe) i went to there with my roomate llane. funny 'cause each of us brought only 20 bucks ( so that we wouldnt be tempted to go to eastwood after). kaso llane left early coz she was already sleepy. i decided not to go with her 'cause i was really determined to hear imago play. i was like, "ok,so never mind watching the gig alone. i dont care if i dont even know how i would go home." it was a good thing on-the-go tara feels like being on-the-go that night so when i texted her to come there, woohhoo, punta naman siya. kewl.

yun, enjoy naman kami pareho. we didnt slam or anything because the mood of the gig was not just that. in fact, we were just sitting down ;) yihee.. i got to watch imago. aia is really a rocker chic. they sang idlip (it sounded like a new version to me) plus other new songs which were quite familiar to me although im not so sure of the titles. i must have heard it last sem sa amp listening room.

ebe is such a funny guy, he has this teasing smile. he was like "ok lang ba kung tutugtog kami ng bagong kanta" he said that pag sa up daw kase, babatuhin sila ng tao." kakakakanta pa lang nila ng mariposa, the crowd would say agad "mariposa ulet?!!!" tsk tsk. demanding crowd.

kris gorra of cambio is the second rocker chic. hehe. her hair was.. ROCK!!! :0 (wrong grammar but it makes sense. konti.) we bought cambio's EP - with the famous DV (divisoria song.) we went backstage to have the CD signed. unfortunately, we werent able to catch kris or ebe. but at least we succesfully 'cornered' diego mapa (bru of jao mapa, hehe, guitarist and vox of cambio) who turned out to be tara's instant crush that night. harhar..

excuse me for the long entries about gigs. hehe. just my passion. :)
