you won't want this to happen to you!
you surely wouldn’t want to be traveling for 30 hours. Well, I also don’t want to. UNFORTUNATELY, yes, I traveled for around 30 hours on my way to Baler, my hometown.
The already LOOONG 8-hour trip tripled and became extra LOOOOOOOOOOONG. Ha, it sucks, man. imagine that. Cool. Haha.
Here’s a recap [ I promise I won’t make it that long. Hehe ] we left las pinas at around 8 am and went to fetch our tito and his baby somewhere in BF also. We got stuck on a traffic jam I guess somewhere in the market area of paranaque. I had no idea how we got there but probably it was tito buboy who gave all those short-cuts to papa – short-cuts which got us to that hell traffic. Har, it was hot outside and our aircon, as usual, was in a state of malfunction. [good luck] that was just the beginning. Since then, the car started overheating and we had to stop even on the main roads [ it’s a good thing, however, we weren’t towed since may shoulder naman daw dun sa road]. Papa had to pour water into the “so-hot-that-you-could-boil-water-and-fry-egg-with-it” radiator.
We stopped over bulacan since we had the radiator fixed. While waiting, we discovered Walter Mart, which we first thought to be a grocery but we realized that it was a Robinsons place mall [?]. it was like a world in another dimension 'cause you wouldn’t really a mall exist in such an area. Hey, there’s even a not concrete road there [hehe, dunno what you call it eh ]
The prob didn’t really end there [woo..] cause we started overheating again after hmmm, 20 minutes. It even became worse that the engine gets hot every 20 minutes that we had to stop every gasoline station on every town. Another misfortune, nasira yung fran belt [ not sure of the spelling. hehe ] naalimpungatan ako and i heard papa was almost giving up [poor papa he had to stay awake and drive all night .ay.. ]
Nakatulog ako and when I woke up, children were looking at us, knocking on the car windows. i realized papa slept for a while lang and we were at the foot of the mountains, sa bongabon na pala. Ha, three hours na lang, I said to myself and it’s over. Well, three long hours na naman, pahinto-hinto pa rin kami. [good luck] NOTE: Im sorry for not keeping my promise. Tang.ina, my recap is long ata. Sowee.
By 12 noon December 22, we were home at last. YEHEY. YIPEE. Jump. SHOUT FOR JOY. But tang.ina, nah ah, I was ‘welcomed’ by a bad news that made me cry so hard – dino, my puppy is dead. – how hard could that be. after a freakin exhausting trip, iyon pa ang balitang aabutan ko.
GRABE, GOD loves me so much HE gives me so much pain these days.
